Last night in Blacksburg

I will be leaving Blacksburg tomorrow morning. We lived our life in such a lovely small town for four years. There were some days that I hated living here though and now I regret that I did not enjoy my whole stay.
Last night, we went to Lyric and watched "Brideshead Revisited". It was fantastic to watch a movie in this old movie theater. Lyric is one of the oldest building in Blacksburg.

Last day of the class

Today was the last day of my class. This was the first time I was teaching the whole course. Now, I have a whole lot respect for those who teach. Everyday after the lecture, I felt like I have accomplished something really important. I am glad that it turned out to be a nice experience.

Khosrow Shakibai

Khosrow Skabiai passed away today. He was a favorite actor of mine who will always be in my thoughts, a man who had the warmest voice and his memories form a part of my childhood and teenage memories. I never forget his memorable performance in Hamoun.

Done

I am done and it is not still sunk the fact that I have passed it.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day. I hope everything goes smoothly like what happened on Monday. I just want to get done with all these. Just a few more hours to go.

3 Days

My first presentation will be on Monday and the actual one is on Wednesday. I am confident and calm today. I really hope all goes fine.

17 Days

Most probably, I will be defending on June 18. I am freaked out. I have to give my thesis to the committee in 3 days. There are some days that I think there is no way that I pass and some other days I am confident about the quality of my work. I hope Dr. D will not give me hard time like my preliminary exam.

I need to absorb all positive energy of the world.
