روزمره

همه کارهایم اساسا به هم ریخته. اوضاع بدی دارم. سپتامبر 2007 بعد از یک سال معطلی مقاله رو فرستاد و کلی ریویو و کامنت خوب روش گرفتیم. حالا امروز بعد از چند ماه خبر دادند برای این ژورنال خاص مناسب نیست و بفرستیدش یک جای دیگه. این باید موقعی اتفاق بیافته که من میخواستم توی رزومه ام بنویسم در حال چاپ. حالا به جاش تازه باید بنویسم که فرستادم یه جای دیگه. کلی فرصت رو از دست دادم

ناراحتم. دیروز هم تمام محاسبات یک ماه اخیرم رو از دست دادم

New Year 2008

I have been on vacation for the past six days. We drove down to North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and finally Florida. It was fantastic to lie on the beach in late December. I am telling you it is nice and at the same time somehow disappointing to experience summer and winter in only one day. We were in sunny Daytona Beach in the morning and in snowy Blacksburg in the evening. We tried to experience southern foods but the best foods that we had were Chelokabab in an Iranian restaurant in Charlotte, NC and Gyro in a Greek restaurant in Orlando. We spend the new year eve at the same Greek restaurant. We had fun and danced a lot all night.

Today, I am back to my regular schedule and of course my Starbucks. I have to concentrate on my dissertation. Seeing the load of the work for this semester freaks me out.
